Coconut Almond Brownies

Coconut Almond Brownies
1 C Dates
1/2 C Coconut Oil
1/2 C Raw Honey
3/4 C Coconut Milk
1 1/2 C Slivered Almonds
1/2 C Cocoa Powder
1 C Almond Flour
1/2 C Coconut Flour
1 C Coconut Flakes + 1/2 C separate for topping

Preheat oven to 350. In food processor, pulse dates till a pea-size consistency.
Add in slivered almonds and pulse just enough to break them up, but not to a flour consistency.
In small bowl, combine melted coconut oil, honey, and coconut milk and whisk to combine.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients.

Stir wet into dry.
Spread mixture into greased 8X8 (or similarly sized) pan and top with remaining coconut flakes.
Place in oven for 35-50 minutes depending on the texture you want. I prefer a gooey brownie, and at about 35 minutes mine were perfect.
